Disaster personnel in Anguilla take three day training course
Twelve persons from the Disaster Management Committee and Government personnel who may serve in the National Emergency Operations Centre, last week attended a three day training course in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Finance minister calls for more involvement in Disaster Management
Speaking at the opening ceremony of a two day Emergency Telecommunications course, at the Police Training Room, Finance Minister, Victor Banks today reiterated the need for local authorities to take initial responsibility for disaster preparedness, and response.
