Kingstown, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, August 10, 2007 (NEMO) -  The three days workshop on Emergency Operation Centre Training being conducted by the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) in collaboration with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Response Agency (CDERA) will conclude with a simulation exercise beginning at 11:00a.m on Friday 10th August, 2007.

The objective of the simulation exercise is to test participants’ knowledge on the information gained over the three day period and to give them the opportunity to coordinate response to simulated scenarios. The simulation exercise will also serve to sharpen the skills of the EOC Operators while gauging their abilities to function under pressure.

Members of the media are invited to view the exercise from 2:00p.m at NEMO’S Conference Room at Old Montrose.
