This Consultation is a collaborative initiative between the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA).

According to Director of NEMO, Howie Prince, the most vulnerable population on planet earth is our children. • Guide resources and institutional efforts, created by the government, to maximize their use and enhance safety in schools.
• Provide assistance to teachers and stakeholders for the development of school safety plans.

The Consultation will be held in NEMO’s conference room at its Old Montrose Headquarters, beginning at 9:00 am.
