Earthquake east of Barbados

St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, May 24, 2009 (SRC)- On Sunday
24th May at 01:13a.m. local time, an earthquake occurred east of Barbados.  The preliminary magnitude for the event is 4.4 and the location is 58.91°N, 65.96°W. The focal depth was 66km.  No damage was reported. The map at right shows the location of the epicentre of the earthquake. Please note that these results are preliminary and may vary slightly when additional data is processed.
