DDM Focus programe hits the World Wide Web

Tortola, April 11th, 2008 (DDM) – The Department of Disaster Management is informing the public that their monthly Focus programme can now be viewed on the World Wide Web at www.bviwebtv.com. Focus is a programme that is designed to educate and inform the community on all aspects of disaster management and public safety.

A new edition of Focus is scheduled to be aired  on April 23rd on CBN channel 51 at 9pm, on the 24th on J-TV channel 55 at 6pm, on the 26th on HLSCC channel 52 at 7pm and then again  on April 27th on channel 1 at 6pm.

As a part of the April edition of Focus we are going to be discussing some very important information regarding earthquake safety and we will also be giving an update on the findings from the research that was undertaken by scientists from the United States Geological Survey.

Tune in monthly for a new edition of Focus, the show that keeps watch for the BVI community. Don’t forget you can view Focus at your convenience when you log on to the internet at www.bviwebtv.com.
