Sub-Committees being established in South St. George District, Grenada

St. George's Grenada, June 22, 2007 (NaDMA) - The South St.George District Committee for Disaster Management is moving ahead with plans to establish sub-committees.
 
South St. George has announced a series of village meetings with a view to setting up these committees.
 
Dates for the village meetings were agreed to during a recent meeting of the committee.
 
The Committee says it plans to break down all the villages into zones and focus on forming village groups in each zone.
 
A decision has been taken to hold the first set of village meetings in the most vulnerable areas.
 
Meetings have already taken place for Mount Tout, Grand Anse Valley Mt. Hartman, Golf Course, Fenton Village, and Cuffie Beau Hill.
 
The following is a list of meetings to take place.
 
On June 26th at 6pm, a meeting will be held at the Berean Church from 6pm to cover Stones, Grey Stone, Fall Edge, and Jean Anglas.
 
On June 28th from 6 pm at Dynamite Disco 8th for The Limes and Housing Scheme.
 
On July 3rd  from 6Pm  at Grand Anse RC School, for Frequente.
 
July 5th, 6pm at Fox Inn, for Calliste, Point Saline.
 
July 10th at Woburn Methodist Church from 6pm, for top Woburn and Calivigney.
 
July 12th at 6pm, for Bottom Woburn and Woodlands.
 
And July 17th from 6pm for Springs, Belmont, and Lagoon Road.
