Sub-Tropical Storm Olga advisory #1 - Centre of Olga inland over the Dominican Republic
At 5:00 p.m. DT the centre of Subtropical Storm Olga was located inland over the Dominican Republic near Latitude 18.5 north and Longitude 68.8 west or about 70 miles east of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 MPH with higher gusts. Slow weakening is forecasted over the next 24 hours. Sustained minimum pressure is 1003 mb.

Remarks given at the CDERA/United States Government Signing Ceremony on agreement in support of the Tsunami and Coastal Hazards Warning System
The official signing ceremony on the Agreement for the provision of a United States Government grant of US$475,200 to support the strengthening and empowering coastal communities in the Caribbean region to prepare for and respond to tsunamis and coastal hazards was held at the CDERA Coordinating Unit in Barbados on September 26, 2007.
