Sub-Committees being established in South St. George District, Grenada

NaDMA stages motorcade for Disaster Awareness Week
The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) on Sunday staged what by all accounts appeared to have been another successful round the island motorcade. The motorcade, one of the activities of Disaster Awareness Week, was also timed to coincide with the start of the Hurricane season.

Grenada shelter list to be released
The National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) says the list of Hurricane shelters for the 2007 Atlantic season will soon be released. NaDMA Coordinator Sylvan McIntyre making the announcement during a news Conference at the agency’s head office at Fort Frederick’s is also asking persons to exercise patience.

Disaster awareness week in Grenada starts June 1st
The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) announces the staging of Disaster Awareness Week from June 1st to the 8th. Over the years, the agency has been using the week as a way of boosting the awareness of the population to the possibility of a natural disaster.
