Flash flood warning remains in effect for all parishes
As the island continues to be influenced by unstable weather conditions, The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) has been advised by the Meteorological Service of Jamaica that the Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for low-lying and flood-prone areas in all parishes across Jamaica until 5:00 p.m. today.

Tropical Storm Watch in effect for Jamaica
The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) is advising the public that the Meteorological Service has placed the country under tropical storm watch as a result of hurricane Felix that is presently south of Jamaica and moving towards the west.

ODPEM to honor Audrey Yvonne Mullings for over 20 years of service to disaster management in the Caribbean
The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) will hold a ceremony on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in its Conference Room to honour Ms. Audrey Yvonne Mullings for her over 20 years of service to Caribbean disaster management.

Flash flood watch in effect for Jamaica
ODPEM in Jamaica has been advised by the Meteorological Service that, due to the present frontal system affecting the island, unstable weather conditions is expected to continue tonight, (November 21st) into tomorrow.
