Radio operators participate in tri-island emergency communications exercise - OPERATION ‘X’ 2008

OECS and USAID introduce a tool to measure disaster risk management in Saint Lucia
The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) secretariat and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will host a two-day national workshop in Saint Lucia to train senior government and private sector officials in the use of a Disaster Risk Management Benchmarking Tool (B-Tool) at the Ministry of Communication and Works Conference Room at Union on Thursday June 28th, and will continue through to Friday June 29th 2007.
