Felt Earthquake in Trinidad - Public Advisory
ODPM(Trinidad and Tobago) issued an advisory on precautionary measures to take in the event of after shocks, shortly after the Seismic Research Unit reported a felt earthquake in Trinidad on February 13.

Oil Spill at Kendal, Tobago
NEMA Tobago reponded to report of an oil spill on the beach in the Belle Garden area on the island’s east coast. The presence of weathered petroleum based substance was found along Carapause Bay.

Earthquakes, tsunamis and Trinidad
The Seismic Research Unit has received several enquiries regarding a supposedly impending earthquake and subsequent tsunami to affect Trinidad. Additional concerns as to the current status of the Kick ‘em Jenny submarine volcano have also been raised. SRU has advised that there are no signs of an impending eruption.

The ODPM to be formally launched in Trinidad and Tobago
The Ministry of National Security will formally launch the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) at a ceremony to mark the occasion on Friday 28th October 2005 at the ODPM Headquarters, 4A Orange Grove Road, Trincity, Trinidad.
