Kingston, Nov 18, 2005 (ODPEM) - The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) is advising persons, that despite the lifting of the severe weather conditions by the National Meteorological Service associated with Tropical Depression 27, the weekend could produce unstable weather in the vicinity of showers especially in the hilly areas.

The public is being advised to continue monitoring the radio for further advisories and to avoid areas that are at risk from flooding and landslide.  Additionally, persons are asked not to use roads that are closed, as this could be potentially dangerous.
