The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) is advising the public that the Bog Walk Gorge is closed as the water is rising and has reached critical levels.

Also, one of the fords that crosses the road leading from Riversdale  through Ginger Hall to the Troja Primary and Junior High School in St. Catherine is flooded and is therefore impassable. Students of the school are being advised not to turn out for the second shift  which starts at 12:00 noon.

Further updates will be provided as the situation demands.
