Saint Lucians felt earthquake

Castries, St. Lucia, May 11, 2006 (National Emergency Management Organisation) - The Seismic Research Unit has confirmed an earthquake at 10:31pm last night [May 10]. 

The details of the quake are as follows:
Magnitude: 4.1
Time: 10:31pm
Lat/Log: 14.96° North and 60.53° West
Depth: 23 km

So far the NEMO Secretariat has received reports of persons feeling the Earthquake at:
 Bexon
 Bois Patat
 Cas En Bas
 Choiseul
 Chaussee Road
 Corinth
 Grand Riviere / Gros Islet
 Independence City / Entreport
 Monier
 Morne Fortune and
 Summerdale

As usual persons are encouraged to call in their location when they felt the earthquake to the NEMO Secretariat at 452-3802 / eoc@candw.lc so that the information may be sent on to the Seismic Research Unit.
