Update on Flooding Events in Belize
Thousands of persons in Belize have been affected by flood waters associated with the passage of Tropical Depression 16 which caused widespread rainfall across the country mid October. Several communities continue to be affected by rising flood waters.

Tropical Depression Sixteen cause flooding in Belize
Heavy rainfall associated with Tropical Depression 16 began affecting the southern areas of Belize from the evening of Wednesday October 15. The system is producing a lot of rainfall and this has resulted in flooding in number of the flood prone in the southern districts.

Preliminary Report on Belize Flooding Events
The National Emergency Management Organisation of Belize has issued the preliminary damage assessment and needs analysis report on the floods that affected the country following the passage of Hurricane Arthur.
