Turks & Caicos hosts regional risk mapping workshop
The Turks and Caicos Islands Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies, in collaboration with the Caribbean Risk Management Initiative and UNDP, hosts Regional Technical Workshop in "Risk Mapping and Planning in Coastal Zones".

Minister of Education delivers statement on her visit to students in Florida
More than 170 students from the Turks and Caicos Islands who are studying in Florida, received financial aid last weekend from the Government, through the Ministry of Education to help them cope with the after-effects of Hurricane Wilma.

NOAA's tour aims to increase hurricane awareness in Latin America and Caribbean
Hurricane specialists from NOAA’s National Hurricane Center and emergency managers will begin a week long, multi-nation campaign on March 13th to share lessons learned from the 2004 Atlantic hurricane season and increase preparedness in hurricane vulnerable countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
