high pressure at the surface will maintain a fairly dry atmosphere.
Some shallow pockets of moisture could move across the islands overnight.

Weather:  Tonight skies over Montserrat will be mostly fair with very few showers
expected. Early Friday morning, some partly cloudy to cloudy spells
with mainly light scattered showers are possible. By Friday Afternoon,
sunny to partly sunny with very few showers anticipated.

Winds:  ENE-E at 12-18kts over land and increasing to near 22kts over open waters..

Seas:  Moderate to rough waves ranging between 1.5-2.1m or 5-7ft. A small craft advisory remains in effect for choppy seas..

Weather: A low level trough system will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies and widely scattered to scattered showers across Hispaniola. Isolated thunderstorms are also likely in this area. Meanwhile, a relatively weak tropical wave today and a low level perturbation tonight will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated to widely scattered showers across the rest of the region. There also exists a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms over Trinidad. Further, most islands will have hazy skies.

Winds: ENE to ESE at 12 to 22 knots and gusting higher at times.

Seas: The sea state will be moderate to rough with waves ranging between 1.5 and 2.4 meters or 5 to 8 feet and building. A small craft warning is in effect for the Virgin Islands, the Windward Islands and Barbados. Elsewhere, a small craft caution remains in effect.
